Position Summary

This is skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of chemical plant process equipment’s and utility equipment’s. work involves responsibility for the operation, servicing, and repair of process equipment’s like reactors, condensers, vacuum pumps, transfer pumps, distribution pumps and utility equipment’s like boiler, air compressor, chiller, cooling tower, water distribution pumps, chilled water circulation pumps etc.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.
  • Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
  • Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
  • Installing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery, such as motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and boilers
  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshoot, service and repair of production and laboratory equipment’s
  • Adequate knowledge of repair and maintenance of utility equipment’s and HVAC system.
  • Responsible to carry out Preventive maintenance and Calibrations within the schedule.
  • Responsible to plan and maintain spare parts and other relevant tools.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Superior.
  • Responsible for plan and schedule for shutdown maintenance and engage vendors to execute the maintenance activities.
  • First line of defense for all Process and Facilities equipment’s trouble shooting and issues resolution.
  • Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations
