Position Summary
The Environmental Health Safety (EHS) & Fire Officer is responsible for assisting the EHS Executives and EHS Manager with tasks related to EHS & Fire hazards & Risk in the workplace as well as administrative needs for recordkeeping, audits, training for EHS at Finar by Actylis.
He/ She shall maintain a safe working environment as per the statutory and regulatory requirements per government norms, and the ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards in the organization.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible to practice Safe Working techniques, re-enforce safety policy, guidelines, procedures as set out by the company.
Identify Hazards and Risk involved in the activities of the premise and report to EHS Executives.
To ensure Fire protection system & pump house in working condition without any breakdown.
To ensure Fire Detection system in working condition without any breakdown.
To maintain and keep up to date all Firefighting system records and regular Hydro test, re filling to be performed.
Required Experience & Knowledge
Education
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Fire Safety Management
Experience
Min 1.5 years EHS/ Fire service-related Experience.
