POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Analyst participates in maintaining product quality and ensuring final product meets company standards under the supervision of the Quality Manager. The incumbent is responsible for creating and updating product specifications, COA entry, releasing supplier COA’s for raw material and other duties, as required. He or she is required to be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently to ensure that the quality activities that facilitate operations and customer requirements are completed appropriately and in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ROUTINE TASKS:
· Create Actylis Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for products, as required.
· Review and approve Product Manufacturer’s Certificate of Analysis (CoA) based on Actylis product specifications and/or compendial monographs, ensuring alignment. · Communicating with other departments, including Quality, if results on Product Manufacturer’s CoA are OOS; Responsible for keeping track of all requests received and ensuring timely completion;
· Create/revise product specifications;
· Suggest improvements to SOPs.
ANCILLARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Execute additional tasks upon request.
· Coordinate the changes on product specifications and regulatory status with affected department.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or related field.
· Minimum of 1 year experience in a GMP environment (Preferred).
· Experience in a manufacturing setting is considered a strong asset.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:
· Attention to detail is critical.
· Priority and task management skills is critical.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
