Position Summary

The role of the Sage X3 Administrator – European Support is to act as the primary support contact for the European offices as it relates to the Sage X3 Enterprise Management system.  This position will provide application support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness.  This position is also responsible for assisting with the evaluation, testing and implementation of application changes and enhancements for this multi-legislation environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide functional support and assistance to European end-users.
  • Train new users and facilitate ongoing user education programs.
  • Create and maintain training materials for ERP business processes for European operations.
  • Collaborate with the US and APAC Sage technical support teams and third-party vendor for the subsequent resolution of user issues in a timely fashion.
  • Perform user acceptance testing after Sage X3 patch installation or system upgrades.
  • Reviewer of common data that has been entered in the Sage X3 system to ensure required data has been properly completed by users.
  • Assist the Global Applications Administrator with the annual review of Sage X3 users.
  • Provide technical assistance to the VP, Global IT Operations for the configuration of company structures, accounting models, VAT rules, etc. related to any EU or UK legislation.

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Skills include the ability to multi-task with complex items, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to technically explain and duplicate user issues to the business application support team.
  • Proven experience as an ERP Application Administrator, particularly in a European context.
  • Experience in the Sage X3 financial modules and automatic journals.
  • Understanding of European data protection regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications in ERP systems or related areas may be advantageous.
