REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS;

  • Performs all tasks in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Follows all process Standard Operating Procedures to ensure a quality product is produced.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all facility and process equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate internal staff and external resources to achieve maintenance goals 
  • Assist and educate Facility Repairmen on process and facility repairs
  • Work with the VP of Manufacturing and Engineering to set work priorities
  • Participate in company meetings as directed
  • Participate in hiring as needed
  • Provide annual team member assessments

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 15 years of experience in a construction or maintenance field, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • A technical degree with at least 10 years of experience in a construction or maintenance field, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:

  • Preferred but not required – certifications in a skilled trade e.g. millwright, pipe fitting, welding, electrical, carpentry.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate Facility Repairmen and external resources to complete maintenance tasks and improve the facility

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting requirement of approximately 50 lbs, multiple times during a shift
  • Stand/walking for long periods of time
  • Climb manufacturing platform, ladders, and stairs
  • Working at heights e.g. from scaffolding or mechanical lifts
  • Squatting and even laying on ground
  • Entering confined spaces while following applicable OSHA procedure

The salary range for the position of Maintenance Manager is $85,000 - $95,000. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity and other factors as permitted by law.

 

This salary range is provided in good faith and is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States.  Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
