Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all warehouse activities across the business using the ERP system including warehouse stocks, ensuring that all orders are prepared and ready for shipment in a timely fashion, and completing the dispatch quality check. The role also includes the responsibility of maintaining the Warehouse to GMP standard and carrying out cleaning duties as requested. 

Responsibilities will include:

Warehouse Maintenance:
•    Complete monthly stock takes and ensures that all products/packaging are labelled appropriately and materials available upon production 
•    Maintaining the warehouse, yard and loading bays to agreed hygiene standards; ensuring hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained and followed at all times
•    Complete cleaning records for the warehouse
•    Ensure warehouse doors are kept closed, except when loading and unloading, all external doors to warehouse are locked when not in use
•    Maintain the chemical storage cabinets 
•    Ensure racking is loaded safely and products are stored in correct areas
•    Ensure all allergens and non-allergens are stored correctly in the warehouse
•    Ensure all floors are clean, when floors are being washed place safety signs on floor
•    Ensure access to warehouse is restricted only to production staff where acceptable.
•    Ensure all unsuitable pallets are removed from the site on a regular basis
•    Responsible for making sure that all carboard is recycled in baler and all non-recyclable waste is removed to large refuse bin
•    Ensure all equipment in warehouse is suitable and fit for purpose
•    Maintain quarantine area

Logistics & Inventory management:
•    Receipting and checking deliveries using the ERP system 
•    Inventory accuracy
•    Coordination of supply chain
•    Logistics coordination and support 
•    Monitor inventory stocks to identify purchasing needs 
•    Determine items for order/reorder
•    Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition 

Shipping (Incoming and Outgoing): 
•    Prepare orders for shipping
•    Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
•    Unload and load deliveries 
•    Complete and maintain all goods inwards/outwards documentation and records
•    Inspection of incoming and outgoing deliveries (loading inspector) for correct quantity and acceptable quality
•    Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy
•    Responsible for completing the dispatch checks 
•    Ensure labelling of all products inwards and outwards are correct and meet A&C Bio Buffer Ltd. and customer requirements, respectively.
•    Ensure all trucks/vans delivering or collecting from the site enter and leave in a safe manner
•    Complete log book of all deliveries and collections
•    Liaise with purchasing department re delivery schedule
•    Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials 
•    Rectify problems such as damages, shortages or nonconformance to specifications 
•    Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

Production: 
•    Prepare raw material batches for production including ingredients and packaging
•    Ensure all pallets of part bags and part packaging in the warehouse are fully labelled, sealed and covered 
•    Deliver or route materials to departments including manufacturing using forklift/pallet truck

Audits: 
•    Accompany third party auditors/inspectors.

Required Experience & Knowledge

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•    Bachelor’s degree or diploma, certificate or equivalent experience in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management 
•    2+ years previous industry experience (shipping and receiving) 
•    Industry knowledge 
•    GMP knowledge 
•    Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations  
•    DGSA certified preferred
•    Lean six sigma experience preferred
