Position Summary
Manages the activities of the Customer Service and Logistics department for a business unit at the European level. Management of the order from its entry to its delivery (customer relations, supplier relations, inbound, warehousing, outbound & invoicing).
Responsibilities will include:
Operational follow-up:
- Customer Service - Logistics coordination, daily monitoring of the order booking on a European scope (supply, storage and distribution). Interaction with Sales to guarantee the best customer satisfaction rate and to deliver an optimal OTIF.
- Ensure compliance with processes
- Solve operational problems and claims
- Operational support depending on the activity
People:
- Management of a European team, increasing the skills of employees, supporting change management, setting up integration and training procedures.
- Management of planning & resources availability
Monitoring and setting up indicators:
- Support for the implementation of KPIs.
- Activity reporting : ensure the forecast accuracy
- Monitor and improve OTIF
- Set up Business unit reportings & communication
Required Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 5 years operational experience in a logistics and/or customer service. First experience in management or transversal management.

• Strong MS Office skills, including expertise MS Excel
• Proficiency in ERP software - Technology tools expertise : SAGE
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good English skills, German is a plus.
• Working knowledge of databases and tools
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with incorterms
• Work in a fast-changing environment with international contacts
