Short Description

  • Full-Time Permanent Contract
  • Start Date- as soon as possible
  • Monday- Friday: 39 hours per week
  • Location- Lyon, France

Position Summary

This position manages the logistics operations, from inbound to outbound and warehousing, in relationship with the customer service and our logistics partners to offer best in class service to our customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • In collaboration with the Customer Service teams, the logistics coordinator coordinates the physical flows of products, from import to distribution, including the coordination of stocks.
  • This logistics role may involve working on both the import and distribution flows
  • Contributes to the successful delivery of our customer promise in terms of lead time
  • Participates in the implementation of logistics performance indicators (OTIF, Lead-Times, etc.)
  • The logistics coordinator may be required to work with our logistics service providers (Freight Forwarders, Carriers, Warehouses, etc.) to guarantee an optimal level of customer service.
  • In this context, may be asked to work on customs and incoterms management.

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Diploma in logistics with experience in imports and distribution
  • >3-5+ years’ experience in logistics/warehousing
  • Dangerous Goods Knowledge is a plus
  • Experience preferred with conducting business as per ISO 22.000 and GDP
  • Comfortable using computer
  • Strong MS Office skills, including expertise MS Excel
  • Proficiency in customer service software - Technology tools expertise (ex. SAP, SAGE, SQL, Access, Tableau, TMS tools)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
