Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the sales team by collecting and compiling data from both direct sales channels and dealer networks. This role involves analyzing sales data, deriving actionable insights to aid in decision-making, supporting new product development initiatives, and coordinating with internal departments to resolve operational issues affecting the sales team and also requires the ability to regularly collect reports and feedback from the sales team, consolidate the information, and share accurate updates with the Sales Head as required.
Responsibilities will include:
• Handle customer/dealers’ inquiries, tenders, and Rate Contracts; ensure timely submission along with all required documentation. Coordinate with Sales Heads to obtain pricing before submitting offers.
• Generate and share MIS reports with the sales team as and when required to support decision-making.
• Manage the GeM portal by downloading new orders, sharing them with the sales team, and ensuring timely order fulfillment in coordination with the Customer Service and Supply Chain teams.
• Process information received from the sales team and GeM orders by obtaining necessary approvals from the Sales Heads to create BP codes for customer order processing.
• Manage the Vaartika (e-commerce) Portal by resolving issues raised by channel partners in coordination with the Customer Service and IT teams.
• Generate user IDs and passwords for new joiners in CRM, Vaartika, and provide onboarding training to ensure smooth adoption of internal systems.
• Schedule MS Teams meetings as proposed by the Sales Head, ensuring proper coordination with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales Heads & Product Manager to collect the monthly sales forecast and submit it to the Supply Chain team by the 21st of each month. Work closely with regional warehouses to facilitate and complete the indenting process efficiently.
• Create Purchase Requisition for Imported Products weekly or as needed, and forward to the Purchase team raising Purchase orders and provide necessary support during the GRN process to ensure smooth inventory flow.
Required Experience & Knowledge
Education: Graduation
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years’ work experience in sales support function.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to handle day-to-day reporting tasks, including the preparation and distribution of MIS reports. Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and the GeM portal is highly desirable to effectively support sales operations.
