Position Summary

Dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented production support. This role is critical in facilitating the flow of raw materials and finished products into and out of our GMP space. This position is responsible for ensuring production teams are adequately supplied with necessary materials and equipment, enhancing efficiency and increasing production throughput while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety protocols. This position requires a spotless record in forklift operation and a strong commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities will include:

Material Handling: Safely transport raw materials from outside the GMP space to the production teams within the GMP area using forklifts, floor jacks, and other tools.

Finished Product Management: Remove finished products from the GMP space post packaging, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Stage products for final release and coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper stocking of completed material.

Waste Management: Regularly collect and dispose of waste materials generated from production activities and perform all disposals in compliance with safety and environmental standards and regulations.

Supplies Coordination: Maintain an adequate inventory of kitted raw material batches and production equipment for Team Leads and their teams, ensuring they can work without interruptions.

GMP Compliance: Ensure that gowned personnel do not leave the GMP space to retrieve materials, thus maintaining compliance with GMP regulations.

Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures when operating machinery, including forklifts, and roll up manufacturing doors to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and proactively address supply and equipment requirements on the spot.

Record Keeping & Accuracy: Maintain operation logs and inspections for equipment, work closely with kitting team to ensure accuracy of kitted batches being supplied and prepare any necessary reports that relate to waste management and inventory levels as required.

Required Experience & Knowledge

High school diploma or GED; further education or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Forklift certification with a clean record is required for operating machinery in this position.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP setting.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with various teams.
• Commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.

Physical Demand

Lift and Carry: Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 55 lbs to facilitate the transport of raw materials and finished products.
• Vision: Good vision required, including close vision for detailed tasks, distance vision for monitoring operations, and the ability to adjust focus quickly while operating machinery.
• Mobility: Stand, walk, and navigate the production and warehouse areas for extended periods, ensuring effective material handling and safety compliance.
• Coordination: Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination while operating forklifts and other machinery, ensuring precision and safety in transporting materials.
