Position Summary

To provide support to shipping warehouse operations. Specific responsibilities include, loading and unloading truck, warehouse organization and inventory and cycle counts on finished products. Preparing products to ship to customers.  

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support manager in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the finished goods warehouse.
  • Preparing Shipments to ship.
    • Pick product for shipments according to PSV.
    • Label-Strap and Wrap product, following applicable SOPs
    • Attaching appropriate paperwork to shipments – ie. Packing lists, COA.
    • Getting appropriate signatures on BOLs and Pick up Receipts.
    • Getting supporting documentation to manager or CSRs ASAP.
  • Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
  • Maintain records (properly document pick-ups and deliveries).
  • Performs all functions within the scope of warehouse to assist cleaning and maintaining warehouse organization.
  • Support with Receiving deliveries as needed and complete documentation for Receiving Process
  • Warehouse inventory and cycle counts.
  • Adhering to Safety Practices
  • Understanding proper use of equipment used in warehouse operations
  • Standard Operating Procedures as applicable
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work.

Required Experience & Knowledge

    • Basic Math
    • Ability to understand and follow verbal written procedures/directions
    • Speaks and communicates clearly
    • Ability to understand multi-step written and oral instructions
    • Adherence to Safety Practices and Procedures
    • Organizational skills and discipline to structured procedures

    ABILITY:

    • Required to schedule activities, collect data and use basic job-related equipment.
    • Must be flexible and able to work with others.
    • Is Organized, Disciplined and can Problem solve
    • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
    • May be required to work in inclement weather
    • Physical Stamina
    • Flexibility-required to work at both locations

     

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Requires Current UT DL and demonstrated insurability.
    • Forklift Experience on Reach lifts, and sit down lifts.

     

Physical Demand

  • Ability to move/lift up to 60 lbs. and higher with proper assistance.
