Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. They ensure efficient utilization of space, equipment, and personnel to meet operational targets and customer satisfaction. Additionally, they lead a team of warehouse staff, providing direction, training, and support to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities.
  • Develop and implement efficient procedures for inventory management, stock rotation, and order fulfillment to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train and supervise warehouse personnel.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and schedule workflow.
  • Coordinate with other departments.
  • Implement quality control measures 
  • Enforce compliance
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or other issues related to inventory or shipments.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement within the warehouse operations.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience 2 years in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of warehouse personnel.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and best practices for warehouse operations.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment (preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
