Position Summary

 

The Agriscience Registration Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to achieve registration of pesticide products as well as representing Actylis AgriScience by participating in regulatory-related industry meetings/committees.

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing regulatory projects and leading the development and implementation of strategies required to obtain, defend, and maintain our active ingredient and product registrations.
  • Overseeing regulatory compliance for pesticide products including label updates and modification submissions to the US EPA or international regulatory authorities.
  • Preparing and submitting registration dossiers for agrochemicals to the U.S. EPA and other international regulatory authorities as required.
  • Understanding testing protocols and working with contract labs to initiate and oversee study work as required for registration submissions.
  • Monitoring EPA databases, Federal Register, industry publications and other vendor software for updates impacting Actylis business as well as competitor activity.
  • Investigating and resolving regulatory issues or complaints from internal teams, customers or government agencies.
  • Maintaining organized databases where Agriscience dossiers are stored and used.
  • Assisting with placement and oversight of field trial work.
  • Participating in industry task forces, trade organizations, governmental work groups and other activities as may be necessary.

 

The salary range for the position of AgriScience Registration Manager is $110,000 - $140,000 per year. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity and other factors as permitted by law.

Required Experience & Knowledge

 

  • Agricultural field or related scientific discipline with 5+ years of experience in the pesticide industry, including a minimum of 5 years in pesticide registration and/or regulatory affairs; or a BA/BS degree in agriculture or a related scientific discipline with 5+ years of experience in the pesticide industry, including a minimum of 5 years in pesticide registration and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Must have comprehensive working knowledge of FIFRA, with a proven track record of successfully registering complex pesticide active ingredients.
  • Assisted and/or developed regulatory strategies to obtain, maintain, and defend active ingredient and product registrations with federal and state regulatory authorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and actively participate in multi-company task forces and industry trade association committees.
  • Proven record of working across functional teams
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly disciplined work ethic and flexibility to work remotely
  • Proficiency with NPIRS and PPLS systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and submissions at one time
