Position Summary
The Fulfillment Coordinator position is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders from start to finish. The position is an integral part of the AG operations team and plays a critical role in product delivery and customer satisfaction. The individual will work effectively with cross-functional resources to satisfy customer demand and achieve monthly and annual budget targets.
Responsibilities will include:
Sales Order Processing
- Entering and delivery of customer orders.
- Reviewing and approving sales orders.
- Coordinating and prioritizing customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining positive relationships to promote customer satisfaction and future business opportunities.
- Resolving customer issues where necessary.
- Supporting month-end close activities to ensure all orders are closed in the appropriate manner to support order billing.
- Ensuring delivery of customer sales orders with the appropriate urgency and validating shipments in SAGE for timely billing.
- Understanding of product order minimums and packaging configurations
- Communicating with customers, tollers and warehouse representatives on a daily basis via phone and e-mails – provides updates where necessary.
- Providing verification for pricing, inventory, terms and conditions, and special requirements as applicable.
Logistics Planning
- Organizing shipments to support customer sales orders in a time and cost-effective manner. Should determine the appropriate mode of transport based on situation.
- Transferring raw material inventory as required domestically and internationally to support production planning activities and efficient product staging.
- Managing freight partner relationships to ensure optimal performance and controlled cost for services provided.
- Preparing appropriate shipping documents for our brokers/carriers to support transport of goods.
Inventory Management
- Working with warehouse contacts to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Using SAGE reports to evaluate current inventory levels to inform customer, sales or operations team members to drive business decisions.
- Reconciling inventory for warehouses including consignment locations
- Ensuring product inventory statuses are accurate (A, Q, etc.) by coordinating with relevant departments such as Regulatory and Quality. Confirming that all sellable goods are correctly classified as “A” status in SAGE.
- Preparing shipping exception forms, credit memos, and other forms as necessary.
- Ability to run a variety of reports out of Sage ERP system.
The salary range for the position of Fulfillment Coordinator is $50,000 - $75,000 per year. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity and other factors as permitted by law.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Two to three years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Needs to be well organized, detail oriented and analytical.
- Understanding of DOT and Hazmat shipping requirements.
- Planning and organizational skills.
