Position Summary

 

Support the Regional Logistics & Warehousing CoE organization by executing operational excellence initiatives across transportation, warehousing, inventory management, trade compliance, and systems. Act as a subject matter expert supporting regional teams, warehouses, and 3PL partners to improve logistics performance, inventory accuracy, compliance, service levels, and cost efficiency through practical execution and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities will include:

 

This position will provide operational expertise and support the execution of logistics, warehousing, inventory control, trade compliance, and digitalization initiatives. Drive tangible improvements through data analysis, process standardization, project execution, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.

  

Transportation Operations & TMS Management

 

  • Support transportation operations by maintaining transportation management systems (TMS), carrier master data, routing guides, freight cost controls, performance reporting, and carrier issue resolution.
  • Monitor carrier performance and support corrective action plans.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of transportation visibility and Track & Trace capabilities.

 

Inventory Accuracy & Stock Reconciliation

 

  • Lead inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control processes, stock adjustment governance, and reconciliation reporting.
  • Support cycle count programs.

 

Warehousing & 3PL Performance Management

 

  • Support warehouse and 3PL operational performance reviews.
  • Track warehousing KPIs including: Inventory Accuracy, OTIF, Throughput, Productivity and Aging Inventory.
  • Support implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Duty Drawback & Disposal Programs

 

  • Support development and execution of Duty Drawback processes and recovery opportunities.
  • Coordinate collection of customs and inventory documentation required for drawback claims.
  • Support tracking of drawback opportunities.
  • Manage product disposal governance processes and support destruction programs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Trade Compliance, and external consultants to validate opportunities and documentation requirements.

 

Reporting & KPI Management

 

  • Prepare logistics and warehousing performance reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain KPI scorecards & savings trackers.
  • Support monthly business reviews and operational governance meetings.
  • Perform data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and operational risks.

 

Continuous Improvement

 

  • Support execution of logistics and warehousing improvement projects.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and participate in implementation of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to standardization initiatives across warehouses, carriers, and business units.
  • Support Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.

 

Digitalization & Systems

 

  • Support implementation and maintenance of: TMS, WMS, ERP integrations, EDI interfaces, Inventory reporting tools and Power BI dashboards.
  • Participate in testing, user acceptance activities, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support master data governance activities related to logistics and warehousing.

 

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity and other factors as permitted by law.

Required Experience & Knowledge

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Operations or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, customs, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with ERP, TMS, WMS, warehouse operations, carriers, and 3PL providers.
  • Experience in inventory reconciliation, transportation management, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational performance analysis strongly preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Work Environment

 

Regional role collaborating across time zones, moderate travel to sites, suppliers, and key 3PL/carrier partners. The work environment is generally office-based with frequent interaction with logistics sites and external partners.
